Who is the threat, Mexicans? But I don't know if it is divide and conquer because a number of my neighbors east of the river, especially those who work in contracting or construction, honestly, or angrily, believe that it is the "Spanish boys" (as they call them) fault that they don't have jobs in the District.I'm disappointed that my people no longer frighten Mr. Buchanan. We need to do better. The fact that we negroes are Mr. Buchanan’s people now proves that we are no longer a viable, or urgent, economic or cultural threat to Caucasian American society.
