There is nothing fancy, pretentious, or imposing -- just warm, open, and inviting souls willing to share time, thoughts, and positive energy.  Not once were we accosted with religious or ideological language, but the chocolate cake sure hit the spot. We left to well-wishing smiles and with the curiosity to learn more about the history and their purpose.  We will definitely return to be part of such a positive and hopeful environment.  The District and the Adams Morgan neighborhood are lucky to have such a unique establishment.  We hope more of its residents have the good fortune of discovering it. I need to check it out one day. Sounds like an interesting place. I agree that it's rare to see people from different walks of life together by choice.
