You may not be aware that young, middle-upper middle class teen girls in our society are now socialized to think that stripping for money is a viable and respectable career option, and indeed some of them do it – even though they don't need to do it for money.

I can understand a poor woman doing it who does not have options of making the same amount in money in the same amount of time and needs to feed her family.

But women who are not forced by financial circumstances to go into this line of work? It is shameful and speaks to the degradation of American society, as does pole dancing as exercise.
